Hosstående rapport er skrevet i opdrag fra Energistyrelsen af en arbejdsgruppe for økonomiske aspekter og perspektiver for brintteknologier, med Bent Sørensen som formand, og afleveret 10. november 2004. En forkortet, dansk udgave ventes senere trykt af Energistyrelsen. Rapporten er et offentligt dokument med det sigte at bidrage til en bred diskussion om brints rolle i dansk energiforskning, -udvikling og demonstration, med henblik på regeringens udformning af en handlingsplan for området i marts 2005. Rapportens analyser og anbefalinger er således alene arbejdsgruppens og ment som inspiration til den mulige politiske udmøntning af et brintprogram. En workshop arrangeret af Energistyrelsen 25. november 2004 i Ingeniørforeningens mødecenter vil fremlægge og debattere status og planer for den danske brintstrategi.

3. Long-term scenarios for global energy demand and supply (final report from a project performed for the Danish Energy Agency Energy Research Programme):
